Nobel Peace Prize nominations are not revealed for 50 years

An author at TIME posted his list of favorite Nobel Peace Prize nominees and since then some people have been mistakenly believing that this is the official list of the nominees for the Noble Peace Prize.

NoblePrize.org, the official website of the prize clearly notes that: “A nomination for the Nobel Peace Prize may be submitted by any person who meets the nomination criteria. A letter of invitation to submit is not required. The names of the nominees and other information about the nominations cannot be revealed until 50 years later.

It is as clear as it gets.

Finally, it does not matter who gets the nomination for Noble Peace Prize. Adolf Hitler was also nominated.

Similarly, you can say that it also does not matter who wins the Noble Peace Prize because Barack Obama also won in 2009, though he was yet to do anything for ‘peace’. Another example was Malala who won this award in 2016, despite her entire imaginary cause being nothing more than propaganda as we mentioned in 2013.
