Verizon’s LG Spectrum 2 for just $100

The famous US Carrier, Verizon announced a new smartphone to its lineup – The LG SPECTRUM 2. It seems like Verizon wanted to draw a little bit of attention towards itselves amidst the recent Google and Microsoft events.

This smartphone, the successor of the LG Spectrum proved to be quite a decent budget smartphone. Also, specs wise it proved to be real good.

The smartphone sports quite a large, 4.7″ HD screen, which would mainly draw attention of quite a lot of people. The Spectrum 2 will be powered by a quick Snapdragon S4 1.5 GHz dual-core Krait processor and will run on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The handset will have 16 GB of internal memory and a slot for a microSD card of up to 32 GB.

It will have a 8 MP Camera on its back and a 1.3 MP Front Facing Camera.

Mobile Hotspot to share a 4G LTE connection with up to 10 Wi-Fi-enabled devices QuickMemo which allows customers to capture screenshots and add their own personalized commentary or drawings with a finger

The Spectrum 2 by LG will be available online at www.verizonwireless.com starting Oct. 30 for $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.
