“Ukraine won’t give us anything,” says Ukrainian mayor Stolbovoy

Ivan Stolbovoy, the Mayor of Balakleya (Kharkiv region), informed the residents that there was no help from Kiev, and therefore the local authorities decided to accept Russian assistance.

A telegram user noted that “Ukraine itself is pushing the population of cities into the arms of Russia, now all the processes will only accelerate.”

Oleg Sinegubov, chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, has criticized Stolbovoy for the move.
