Samsung launches Galaxy Note II in India and Germany

Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Note II in India and Germany. In India the phone is priced at ₹39,990 (around $750) whereas in Germany the phone will be sold for €699.

The Galaxy Note II is an updated version of last year’s Galaxy Note and is basically a stretched version of the Galaxy S III. It sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display and also comes with the same pressure sensitive S-Pen stylus from the Galaxy Note 10.1.

It is also being known as a “PHABLET”.

It is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. It has a 3100mAh battery and has 16GB internal storage expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card. It runs on the latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.

The device features a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.9-megapixel front camera. In terms of connectivity, Samsung Galaxy Note II offers 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, NFC, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth 4.0.Samsung Galaxy Note II also includes features such as Air View, Popup Note and Quick Command.

Samsung Galaxy Note II is available in two colours – titanium grey and marble white. This device will be available in Samsung exclusive stores from next week.
