The Retired Colonel of the American Army Douglas McGregor, who was an advisor to the former Secretary of Defence of the US told his vision of the situation in Ukraine.
In his opinion, Russia cannot lose – it can be compared to how the United States lost by invading Mexico. “No, we can’t, and they can’t because everything is nearby – ports, airfields, logistics. If we decided to enter Mexico, we would do whatever we wanted and stay there as long as we wanted. I think it’s the same with Russia and eastern Ukraine,” McGregor noted.
