Russian President Vladimir Putin and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed vowed Tuesday to maintain energy market stability, according to the UAE’s state news agency said.
Both leaders agreed in a phone call on the “need to maintain the stability of the global energy market,” said the news agency WAM.
The oil prices have increased due to the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia.
UAE earlier abstained from condemning Russia’s actions in the war, together with China and India.
