Do you own a phone with the iOS 5? The general public got to enjoy this starting in October 2011. There were a lot of great features that made there way into the release. These features included camera features, iMessage features, iCloud features and Wi-Fi Sync features. These are just a few of the features. However, there are more features and there is one that we are going to bring to the forefront. This feature is the hidden dictionary.
Even though a lot of people don’t know about it, it is very easy to access. The key is that you just have to know how to access this hidden dictionary. To begin with you can access it from anywhere. It can also be used for any app that lets you choose text. What’s neat is that it is not hard to get to it.
So here we go. Here is how you access the hidden dictionary. Pick the words that you want to view in the dictionary. If you double click on the word, a pop-up will appear just on top of the word. Select on the word define and it will take you to the dictionary for the definition of that word.
As you view the results, you will see that it looks a lot like a regular dictionary. What is extremely nice is the fact that you don’t have to take the word and then go to another application. Just a couple clicks of the buttons and you will be able to read your definition.
This is probably a feature that you were not aware of. So now that you know how to access the dictionary, you can feel free to click on that word that you don’t know the meaning of. One thing that you do want to do is to feel free to share this with your friends, family and co-workers. They will be thankful that you showed them this feature.
