Apple has pushed out the first update in iOS 5 series i,e iOS 5.0.1 for iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad 1, iPad 2, iPod touch 3G and iPod Touch 4G which is not available for download to public but is limited to registered Apple developers only.
The update now brings multi-tasking gestures to the first generation of iPad, fixes some security issues, fixes battery life issue and many other bug are fixed.
You need be a registered developer to download iOS 5.0.1. If you wish to, you can register at Apple Dev-Center and enjoy all the pre-releases of the updates and much more. If you don’t want to become a developer, you can just wait till iOS 5.0.1 is released for the public.
