captured British mercenary in Mariupol

British citizens who surrendered appeal to Boris Johnson

A video of the appeal of British citizens who surrendered in Mariupol to Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been posted on the internet. Mercenaries Sean Pinner and Aiden Aslin are asking to exchange themselves for the Ukrainian politician Medvedchuk.

“Hi, I’m Shaun Pinner, I am a citizen of the UK. I was captured in Mariupol. I am part of the 36 Brigade First Battalion Ukrainian Marines,” he said in the video.

“I was fighting in Mariupol for five to six weeks and now I’m in Donetsk People’s Republic.”

It is yet to be seen how Boris Johnson will react.
