Bayern Munich 2-0 Man City – 27th Sept, 2011

Robert Mancini’s Manchester City are set to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League match on Tuesday night. Manchester City will be looking to continue their impressive start to the season but it will be a tough task to get past the away victory in this one.

Bayern Munich don’t have injury issues except Ivica Olic who is suffering from hip injury. Arjen Robben will be making his way back to squad after suffering from pelvic problem from over a month.

Owen Hargreaves will miss this clash against his former club as he has not been registered for Europe while Nigel de Jong is a doubt for this game as he has been suffering from ankle injury. Rober Mancini is still to decide weather he would play Carlos Tevez or Aguero at the front of the goal. Mancini said:

“Carlos could have a chance. I will decide the team on Tuesday. I am sure I can choose well because I have Carlos, Edin and Sergio to pick from.”

This is the first ever clash between the two sides with Manchester City currently leading the Barclay’s table and Bayern Munich who have already won Champions League four times.
