Ukrainian surrender in Mariupol

1800 Ukrainian troops have surrendered in Mariupol in last 3 days

Ukrainian fighters from Azovstal are continuing to surrender in Mariupol.

In last three days about 1800 Ukrainian troops have surrendered so far, according to one DPR commander, who is overseeing the process.

About 771 have surrendered in last 24 hours.

Ukrainian fighters who spent two months pinned down in Mariupol’s Azovstal steelworks are surrendering to Russia en masse.

A large number of these fighters belong to neo-Nazi Azov Battalion.

Russia has said the members of Azov Battalion will be tried for the war crimes they have committed.
