Vandalism continues against monuments to Soviet soldiers in Poland

A wave of vandalism in Poland continues against monuments to Soviet soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War (June 1941 – May 1945).

This time they desecrated a monument in the Polish city of Poznan, having painted “Glory to Ukraine” on it.

The anti-Russian sentiment is generally rampant in Poland with 63% of the population expressing negative sentiments toward Russians according to a 2019–2020 YouGov Cambridge poll.
