Liverpool will aim to extend their unbeaten start to the Premier League season on Saturday when they travel to Stoke City. Kenny Dalglish’ side began the season with the disappointing home draw with Sunderland but they have followed up with impressive victories against Arsenal and most recently, against Bolton. Liverpool have failed to win at the Britannia Stadium since 2008, scoring just one time in three league meetings.
Stoke are also unbeaten and they have already held Chelsea to a draw at home. Despite their good form, Stoke have scored just two goals in their opening three league matches. Stoke has recently signed Peter Crouch who is expected to improve the game in front of goal.
After three rounds of premier league matches, Liverpool are third after the two Manchester clubs who top the standings. Despite unbeaten run from Stoke, they are at 9th having won only one match against West Brom in their three league matches.
